A humble poem I wish to share

When all was created and the pens were lifted and the ink had dried
A humble few were destined to live in blessed land of honour and pride

Soon, they walked upon the mountains & through valleys living with a code
There was a simple man who sought to marry his bride to dwell in this abode

From those blessed two came a child who took the name from his father’s cut
In this beginning, many of us can only imagine, was the first Mohabbat

But this land in which they did dwell was strategic and often sought
The tyrants, conquerors and liberators could tame and rule them not

The victories of those who came before us defined and wrote the pages
History is humbled as it reports of its produce of scholars and sages

So much more can be said but words cannot do this legend it’s justice
Let us not remain the nation that told stories, rather let’s put it all to practice

The mind is only freed by knowledge of what it did not know
Thus we fail and cannot rise again because of what we sow

Much is said in folk tales and traditions of this noble khans legends & legacy
Love is his name, Mohabbat, where hearts are safe from the evils of heresy

Heart Quake

Heart Quakes

The black and white of day and night push the soul
To temptations or revelations the good bad and foul
Light brings not the good one would wish for
But extinguishes darkness playing its evil role

The great Sun submits and bows in awe of His Majesty
The Humble Moon reflects light upon life and its tragedy
Thus clouds bring the roaring thunder and lightning
To explain in due time how we’re transcending the boundary

Eons pass by as galaxies swing dance by one another
Orchestrated submission beyond imaginations rather
The creation dances in worship as souls ponder
Feelings of lost paths while found is my brother

Filling the sky with sins like black clouds bringing bad news
Flooding the sea with transgressions unable to pay their dues
Forming hopeless waves often forgetting thus are forgotten
Redemption awaits the swimming struggling flying to choose

Convince me to make sense of the confusions plotted and tried
Make sense of it all and eat from the carcass of deeds cried
Heart quakes shake the earth to wake from its truth belied
Crisp clarity is only of that which we have not yet died

When the sky rips open to open the chest of deeds all exposing
When the child stands to testify against the criminal recanting
The soul finally breathes truth in purity but much too late
The smoke clears to show what it wouldn’t see before opposing

Enchanting in its own darkness for love life and redemption
Ah that I breathe this breath not knowing costs of temptation
Loving and hating is relative to what end the soul desires
So bring only what you are willing to carry for presentation

Choose a path to pave for your heart to wonder and ponder to take
Lest a path be chosen for you to the places which make your heart quake
Right or left is left to your free will yet imprisoned to make the choice
While Guidance waits submission love & repentance for you to make

‎~ Desires are blood dripping from my eyes as my heart weeps for its slips
Pain isn’t enough to clot my veins my tears rain upon the cold ice floor
Tawbah is like morphine when coupled with ikhlaas seeping from my soul
Persevering with faith from the truth that binds me to my sins needing more ~

‘A Path is Paved by Jalal ibn Sa’eed’

When did life feel good that so many would die to live
where did death lose its effect that so many ceased to give
why did faith decipitate within our souls which wont forgive
how did we fall so low ignoring the eternal lifes incentive

Given the greyest clouds of deciet with the bleekest of hearts to lead
As a punishment for what our hands sent forth neglecting those who need
Bringing shame upon us all is the weakness within our hearts
Loving and endearing whats worthless is the dunyas shining parts

To wake from this slumber which covers the truth of our state
To rise from the slums of humiliation we first must choose our fate
Our Lord is one without any partner and the message sent so clear
Belief in this requires our actions to follow without any fear

A path is paved towards success in this life and the next
The revival of true faith in our lives from the devine text
Repentance is the key to worldly success defined by our Lord
Redemption is the outcome from humility of the sinners accord

I wish I were a tree
Bowing with the wind
Obedient to Thee

“This is Just a Song”

Now I can’t sing but I can write
I cant feel as good tonight
But I can write until its right
Sing my heart every day every night

Eyes of Delusion

What I want to say is how much I am feeling deep inside
If only words weren’t so feeble and full of hesitant pride
I could deliver this soul to submission and no longer hide
Give me strength to do this task I need to obey and abide

‘Free Will’

When the mighty tide rises the moon brings the clouds humbly towards the shore.
When the mighty tide breaks near the reefs the clouds thunderously roar.
When the mighty tide bows in awe revealing the once hidden ocean floor.
The programed tide rises again as its destined to do so just as it did before.
Yet feeble men are given free will unlike the mighty tide destined to the shore.
Imprisoned is man when he chooses his desires corrupting the souls core.
Freed is man when he sacrifices outdoing the tides prostration upon the shore.

A snowman will melt away but the sin of building it remains. The good deeds of those who sacrifice are like carved sculptures.

Oh Allah

Oh Allah You are truly magnificant
Oh Allah You are truly Most Glorious
Oh Allah nothing is as Beautiful as you
Oh why do I stray away so oblivious

You kept me safe, You gave me life but all I want is to be with you
My mother says, and I confess, that to You I should always turn (more…)
